Raja Talkies is a big movie theater in Pondicherry, India. It’s been around for a long time, and many people love it! Raja Talkies opened on July 14, 1968. A famous actor named Sivaji Ganesan came to open it. Back then, it could fit 1,198 people!
Big changes over the years
In 2004, they made the theater better:
- They added air conditioning (so it’s nice and cool inside).
- The put in new seats.
- They made the sound system good.
In 2017, they made even more changes:
- They reduced the seats to 1,020 but made them more comfy.
- They have a super cool 3D projector.
- The made the sound even better.
- They painted the inside a nice blue color.

“Canteen staff very very theft man on 16.3.24 on 3pm show i lost Rs.400 rupees iam very heartbroken. I give rs500 to the samosa and popcorn staff I have forgotten to get the change of rs400 and I came again and asked the money to the canteen staff he told that I have gave the money (In that canteen only 4 to 5 members only ),…If you not responding me I will take siveare action.
