About the Museum of Illusions New Delhi

Okay, so this place is wild. It’s part of this global chain of museums that mess with your head (in a good way). When you walk in, it’s like entering a funhouse on steroids. Everything is designed to trick your eyes and brain.

Some of the most incredible stuff they have:

  • This spinning tunnel that makes you feel dizzy.
  • A room where your friends look giant or tiny, depending on where they stand.
  • Holograms that float in the air (so sci-fi!).
  • A room with infinite reflections.
  • It’s an upside-down room for the weirdest selfies ever.

It’s not just for laughs, though. You actually learn a ton about how your brain works and why we see things the way we do. It’s kind of like science class but way more fun.

Museum Of Illusions Ticket Price

Alright, let’s talk money. According to this thing I saw, tickets start at ₹590. That’s for dates from September 12 to September 30, 2024.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • It might cost more or less depending on your age
  • Kids as young as three can go (so you can drag your little brother or sister along)
  • You get about an hour to explore, but trust me, you’ll want more time
  • They do tours in English and Hindi.

Pro tip: Check online for deals. Sometimes, you can save cash by booking ahead of time. Oh, and ask about student discounts!

Museum of Illusions New Delhi Nearest metro

Getting to the museum is easy if you use the metro. I don’t know exactly which station is closest, but here’s how I’d figure it out:

  1. Use Google Maps or the Delhi Metro app to find the nearest station
  2. Some big stations that might be close are Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, or Mandi House
  3. Once you’re at the station:
  • Get a token or use a smart card.
  • Follow the signs (they’re everywhere).
  • Keep an eye on the maps in the station.
  •    Listen for announcements so you don’t miss your stop.
  1. You might need to walk a bit or grab a quick auto-rickshaw ride when you get out.

Tip: Give yourself extra time. Delhi traffic is crazy, and you don’t want to miss out on any cool stuff because you’re late!

Why You Gotta Go

Seriously, this place is fantastic. It’s perfect for hanging out with friends, impressing on a date, or even going with your family (even parents might enjoy this).

You’ll get tons of pics for your Insta, learn some cool science stuff without even trying, and have many weird stories to tell afterward. Plus, it’s a great way to spend a day outside when it’s too hot or rainy.

“Honestly , not worth 750 INR per person . It’s a good experience where you get to see different illusions and it amuses you for a while and you can have some good pictures too. The staff is very co-operative and friendly from clicking your pictures to guiding you . Still, for 1 hr tour 750/- per person is a bit high but, For once you can experience it for sure.” By EKARTH SHARMA.
